Workshop: Succulents, Grapevine, & Wine

Registration & Fee:

$50 per participant: Includes instruction, succulents, all materials needed, and a glass of wine.  
Registration Required: Limited class size

      I don't know about you, BUT as much as I love and appreciate the beauty of winter in the Finger Lakes, by February my mind begins to daydream about spring that is just not quite within reach yet.  Fledgling flowers and plants under the surface of the frozen ground waiting as eagerly as I for some warm sunshine.

      While we patiently wait for the cold of winter to relent, join us for an indoor gardening experience with succulents.  Together we will create a freeform grapevine planter with an assortment of beautiful succulents.  Succulents that offer an eye pleasing array of color and texture.  Your very own indoor garden to enjoy and nurture until we can reunite with our outdoor gardens. 

This is a hands on workshop for any level of artistry and craftsmanship:  

For those who feel unsure of their creativite skills, DON'T WORRY!  We've got your back!  We are here to help, support, and inspire.  Whatever creative background or skill level you come with is ENOUGH.  

We will provide each participant with:

- Instruction, gentle guidance, examples, and inspiration 
- Grapevine, wire, and tools to create your planter
- 5 assorted succulents (many to choose from)
- Succulent soil medium
- Sphagnum moss 
- Info on how to care for your succulent garden at home
- A glass of wine

Please feel free to bring any other embellishments and treasures for your planter that you may wish to include, like stones, feathers, antlers, shells, mini garden gnomes, etc...  

We encourage you to arrive early to settle in.  You may want time to enjoy a wine tasting ahead of instruction, or pick out an assortment of picnic snacks to enjoy with a glass of wine during the workshop.
