I bought 2 bottles when in Albany for business. And WOW!! Bring a bottle home for my grandpa, and he said it reminded him of the wine when he was a child in Italy. A true complement from a wine maker himself. For a second I thought he was going to tear up.

I stumbled on this wine around 2006-2007 while doing some contract work for a local PD. Except for the few years when I was contracting overseas in Asia, I have consistently bought this wine. It reminds me of my days traveling through Italy repairing microwave comm on various mountaintops. In particular it is reminiscent of the Pisa / Lucca regione, where Chianti is famous. Today I just reordered 4 cases to be sent to me in Texas.

Started enjoying when you were still in milk house only. Happy for your success and keep this wine as priced as you have. Also, have one of your case lots cards from early 1990. Have had it laminated. My go to wine for visiting friends, from down state Pa. Of course after drinking , they want to make sure we visit your winnery

The Classic Red is very good and very affordable. All of my family members that were tasting loved it and when we served it at gatherings, those also loved it. A great, all-around, red wine. You can't go wrong buying this.
